Could not be more than us is an installation piece that centralizes two pieces of collaged upon furniture. Beginning as a tv stand and a chair, I have redefined their uses as being a bookshelf and a hat and coat rack.
This work recovers and consoles memories that sit simultaneously raw and warm within me. I explore my relation to home, the creation of home, and my body as within and upon structures of furniture.
The works are a combination of found objects, photographs, mixed paper, more than one kind of glue, oil pastels, graphite and ink.
